Miss Lake Lanier and Miss Lake Lanier Outstanding Teen pageants are official preliminary pageants for the Miss Georgia Pageant and Miss America Pageant. Miss Forysthy County, Miss Clermont Days, and Miss Cumming Country Fair are supported competitions by the Miss Lake Lanier franchise. All are a part of and recognized by Miss Georgia and Miss America.
The Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence.
