Miss Lake Lanier and Forsyth Lake Lanier Outstanding Teen pageants are official preliminary pageants for the Miss Georgia Pageant and Miss America Pageant. Miss Clermont Days, Miss Cumming Country Fair and Miss Greater Columbus Fair are supported competitions by the Miss Lake Lanier franchise. All are a part of and recognized by Miss Georgia and Miss America.
The Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence. The Miss America Organization is the world's leading provider of scholarships for young women.
